FAQs

MBA in UK is a 1-year program. The tuition fee for an MBA in the UK can vary depending on the university you apply to, but on average it ranges between INR 17-40 lakhs per annum. Only a handful of top universities in the UK such as London Business School, the University of Oxford, and the University of Cambridge charge tuition of around INR 40-68 lakhs per annum.

Given below is a list of some of the most affordable leading universities for MBA in UK:

  • Staffordshire University
  • London School of Commerce
  • University College Birmingham
  • University of Cumbria
  • Leeds Beckett University
  • University of West London

The eligibility requirements for an MBA in UK are given below:

Bachelor’s Degree - Unlike in the US, a three-year bachelor’s degree is accepted and recognised in the UK.

Test Scores - With the exception of the top 7 MBA programs, GMAT is not required for MBA in UK. Undergraduate GPA - A good overall undergraduate GPA will increase your chances of getting admitted to your dream university

English Language Proficiency Requirements - IELTS/TOEFL or any other English Language Proficiency Test score is a requirement but it can be waived off on a case by case basis.

Work Experience - While there are MBA programs for freshers, a minimum 2-3 years of work experience is generally required

Yes, students can apply to several UK universities without IELTS scores provided some other requirements are met. The universities that Indian students can study at in the UK without IELTS may require them to take an English Language Program along with the regular classes, provide proof of scoring over 75% in high school Academic English, or submit an English Language Proficiency Waiver (which is a letter stating that English was the language of instruction in the student’s previous university). These requirements vary depending on the college or university you apply to.

However, the UK Visa process might still require you to take the IELTS. Hence, prepping for, and taking the exam is overall a good idea. Learn more about our IELTS coaching programs here

GMAT is not a requirement for most MBA programs in the UK. Given below is a list of the top 10 universities in the UK where GMAT is not required:

Based on the time it takes to get the visa, UK student visas can be categorised as follows:

  • Super Priority - Issued less than a week after the student has applied for the visa
  • Priority - Issued 1-2 weeks after the student has applied for the visa
  • Regular Visa - Issued 3 weeks after the student has applied for the visa
