Babson College was founded in the year 1919 by Roger Babson. At that time it was light years ahead in comparison with other similar institutes, because it offered a curriculum that was uh, strictly business! The curriculum was divided into four subject areas: practical economics, financial management, business psychology and personal efficiency. As a student, you would be taught real-world business strategies by seasoned businessmen. You would have an office desk with a telephone, typewriter, adding machine, Dictaphone and even a personal secretary to type your assignments!

Today’s Babson offers undergraduate and graduate studies in concentrations like accounting, business analytics, computational and mathematical finance, economics, entrepreneurship, environmental sustainability, finance, global and regional studies, global business management, IT management, leadership and the like. Indian students make the largest cohort among international students at Babson College.
