Tips (Critical Reasoning)

Critical reasoning passages/arguments comprise of facts and a conclusion. The facts cannot be altered or attacked. In Assumption questions, you are required to choose an answer option that will bridge the logic gap between the given facts and the conclusion. In other words, you are required to identify the “missing link” – a new piece of information joining the facts and the conclusion. There will be one or two options that will either negate or restate the given facts. These cannot be the answer and you can eliminate them straight away.
