Is tuition free for masters in Germany?

Public universities in Germany mostly do not charge tuition fees for undergraduate and consecutive master’s degree programs and are basically tuition-free for home, EU, and international students except for some nominal administrative charges (around $225).

Let us get to the next obvious question now, what is a consecutive master’s program? If you’ve already graduated from an undergraduate program from any of the universities in Germany in the last few years and wish to study a post-graduate program in the same field or stream from Germany, you are then not required to pay tuition.

However, If you have graduated from any other country and want to study MS in Germany then you are classed as a non-consecutive student and hence will need to pay tuition.

Regardless of the case, tuition fees in Germany are still far lower than other popular study destinations.

Is GRE required for MBA in Germany?

GRE scores are not required for an MBA in Germany. However, many universities in Germany accept and consider GRE scores for MBA admissions. The course duration for an MBA program in Germany is of 1-2 years.

Germany is not overly known for MBA programs but it should be. With four b-schools featuring under the top 100 in QS Global MBA Rankings 2021 and eight ranking within the top 100 MBA programs by Financial Times, Germany is emerging as a wholesome study destination.

The story doesn’t just end here, an MBA from Germany costs a lot less than the US, Canada, Australia, France, and the list goes on.
