Here’s why you should choose GERMANY

as your study destination:

The first step to studying in Germany is choosing a study program and listing universities that are right for you. Your research for the same should ideally begin 3 months before your decision. Check for the requirements of your course. Entry requirements are different depending on the university and the program you choose. Make sure you meet them or connect with the university in case you have doubts.

The next step is to make sure you have the required financial resources to live and study in Germany. It is advised to have at least €10,300 in a German blocked bank account for your living expenses in Germany.

Now, apply for admission and when you get through, you can apply for your German student visa with the admission letter. Find a temporary place to stay while you look for accommodation if you are not opting for university accommodation in Germany and enrol within the first week of landing in Germany.

If you wish to study in Germany after 12th start by choosing a program and universities, you wish to apply to. General entry requirements after 12th to study in Germany are:

  • Apply for a German student visa with the university admission letter

Apply for a study visa in German Embassy or consulate in your home country at least 3 months prior to your move. Collect the documents required for application and a visa application fee of $70. Given below is the list of documents required for a German student visa:

German public universities don’t charge tuition for undergraduate and consecutive postgraduate programs. There is however a tuition fee for a non-consecutive (i.e., bachelor’s degree from any other country) master’s degree program and that is around $24,400 per year at public institutions and $36,600 at private universities in Germany.

If you wish to study in Germany, you can research, check for eligibility, and apply to a range of government-funded, non-government funded, and university-specific scholarships for international students.

You can start by registering in the DAAD portal online and then selecting your chosen scholarship program. Fill out and then submit your scholarship application.
