You can register for the TOEFL exam online, by phone, or via mail. Registering through TOEFL’s official website is preferred. Detailed instructions on registering for the TOEFL can be found on the exam’s official website.
A TOEFL score above 100 is considered to be a good score. However, it is important to note that you have to get a score above 78, failing which you’ll have to retake the test.

ETS, the conducting body for TOEFL, will send your TOEFL score report to four institutions of your choice. Reporting the score to any additional universities will cost you USD 20 per institution.
ETS allows you to change your registration for the TOEFL exam, subject to availability. However, you must make these changes no later than four days before your TOEFL exam date. The rescheduling fee is USD 60.
The scores for the reading and writing sections will be available as soon as the exam ends, and the total TOEFL score for the exam will be available online 2 weeks later.

ETS doesn’t place a limit on the number of times a candidate can take the TOEFL test. However, there should be a gap of at least 12 days between the two test dates.
TOEFL is scored on a scale of 0 - 120, with each section being scored between 0 - 30. The computer grades the Reading and Listening sections, while human examiners grade the Speaking and Writing sections.
You will have to submit your TOEFL score and your university application as proof of your English language proficiency.
The TOEFL exam is offered more than 50 times a year. This number may vary from one country to another.
