Quick answers about dMAT and your degree

Yes. Bachelor of Commerce and its specialisations (B.Com Honours, Accounting and Finance, Banking and Insurance, Taxation and more) are listed under the Commerce / Accounting / Finance / Economics group of the APS India dMAT affected-fields list.

No — Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) is not automatically covered by the dMAT requirement. It falls under the requirement only if APS India explicitly classifies the official degree as Engineering, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Business or Management.

Yes. Computer Science and Engineering is a listed Engineering branch, so B.E. / B.Tech CSE degrees fall under the dMAT requirement. Standalone B.Sc. Computer Science, however, is not automatically covered.

Not by the field name alone. Hotel, hospitality, tourism, aviation and healthcare management degrees require separate assessment by APS India — they may fall under the dMAT requirement only if the official degree is awarded as a Business or Management qualification.

The dMAT (digital Master's Admission Test) is a test required by APS India for selected Master's applicants whose bachelor's field falls within Engineering, Commerce / Accounting / Finance / Economics, or Business / Management. Important disclaimer

This tool is guidance only, based on the APS India dMAT affected-fields list. The list determines only whether the dMAT requirement may apply to your previous field of study — it does not confirm formal recognition of a degree, institution or qualification for higher-education access in Germany. APS India decides the final classification based on the official degree title, major, honours subject, branch or specialisation, transcripts, marksheets, degree duration, institution status and applicable recognition rules. The official wording on your degree certificate and transcripts is decisive.
