In 2014, when Neeti Sonth graduated from VNIT, Nagpur with a Bachelors in Electronics and Communications Engineering, she was sure of only two things. One, she wanted to pursue advanced studies in electronics and two, she wanted to go to the US for doing that. US was her country of choice because the prospect of studying under professors who were Nobel laureates or pioneers in their field, thrilled the knowledge-seeker within her. Add to that the promise of up-to-date facilities like labs and libraries, Neeti was straining to get there.
However, she was working full-time at Cisco as a Network Consulting Engineer. Where was the time to prepare? On a friend’s insistence, she decided to give it a chance and joined Jamboree. With flexible class timings and super-cooperative faculties, who customized sessions specifically for her, she managed to get a decent GRE score. She also worked on her applications while preparing for the exam and as a result, saved a lot of time. She finally got into University of Colorado, Boulder and graduated in the Class of 2018. Last we checked, she was working as a Radio Frequency System Design Engineer at Apple located in Cupertino, California. Kudos to Neeti for transforming her dream into reality. About time you did it too!
