How many times can I take GMAT Online?

Unlike regular or test centre GMAT which you can take 5 times a year, GMAT Online can only be taken twice in one year and both of these attempts will be counted towards your annual limit of 5 attempts and a lifetime limit of 8 attempts. GMAT Online exam can be taken once every 16 calendar days.

Exception: You are allowed to have a GMAT test centre appointment within 16 calendar days of a GMAT online exam appointment.

How to reschedule GMAT exam?

Rescheduling GMAT is easy, it will hardly take 10 minutes of your time.  In the event that you feel like you will not be able to take an already scheduled GMAT, you can reschedule it by logging in to your mba.com account and choosing the new GMAT appointment date. Confirm your personal information after reviewing the new appointment, pay the GMAT rescheduling fee, and voila it’s done!

Steps to reschedule GMAT

Given below is the step-by-step guide to reschedule GMAT:

  1. STEP 1 – Log in to your mba.com account
  2. STEP 2 – Select the GMAT exam you want to reschedule
  3. STEP 3 – Pick the new GMAT appointment date (don’t mess up here)
  4. STEP 4 – Check and review the new GMAT appointment
  5. STEP 5 – Confirm your personal information
  6. STEP 6 – Agree to GMAC’s policies
  7. STEP 7 – Pay the GMAT reschedule fee

How many times can I reschedule GMAT?

There is no limit on the number of times you can reschedule your GMAT as long it is before a minimum of 24 hours prior to the scheduled GMAT. There is however a rescheduling fee that costs you between $50-$150 every time you reschedule your GMAT exam.

An important point to note here is that you cannot make any changes 24 hours prior to your scheduled GMAT appointment and there is no provision for a refund if you miss your scheduled appointment.

How much does it cost to reschedule GMAT?

How much you pay for rescheduling your GMAT exam depends on the number of days before you decide to reschedule your GMAT appointment. Given below is a table detailing the fee charges to reschedule GMAT within a certain duration before the GMAT appointment:

You can reschedule your GMAT appointment online or by phone. If you do it by phone you will be charged another $10 as service on top of the rescheduling fee.  Just so you know we think it’s outrageous too!

How to cancel my GMAT exam?

For starters, no appointment changes can be made or modified within 24 hours of the exam. If you wish to cancel a previously booked GMAT appointment you can do so in three very easy steps:

  • STEP 1 – Log in to your mba.com account
  • STEP 2 – Select the GMAT exam you want to cancel
  • STEP 3 – Pay the cancellation fee and cancel your exam

How much is GMAT cancellation fee?

To cancel your GMAT appointment you need to pay a cancellation fee anywhere between $150- $200 depending on the number of days left to the exam. Let us tackle the obvious next question – What if I just don’t show up for the test?

If you skip out on your GMAT appointment your entire exam fee i.e., $250 is forfeited but if you cancel your GMAT appointment instead you can still save around $50-$100 of the refund amount.
