Tip

The assumption is the missing link between the fact and conclusion. It is an implied statement which bridges the gap between the fact and the conclusion. Do the negation test for an assumption answer choice. Reverse the given statement that is if it’s in affirmative make it negative and vice versa. In the reversed form it will always go against the conclusion. So if you cannot predict your answer, identify the assumption from the answer choices by the negation test.
