British Chevening Scholarships for Indian & International Students:

The UK government offers this scholarship to Indian and international students. It is a fully funded scholarship awarded to students with outstanding academic backgrounds.

Rhodes Scholarship at University of Oxford:

Rhodes Scholarship is one of the oldest scholarships and is awarded to international students who have enrolled for a two-year full-time postgraduate course at Oxford University. The scholarship covers the tuition fees and annual stipend.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Students must be at least 18 years old and not have passed their 24th birthday on Oct. 1 in the year they are applying.
  • An undergraduate degree from a recognized institute
  • Strong academic background & leadership qualities
  • Citizen of a Rhodes eligible country such as India, Australia, Germany, Singapore, etc.
  • The student must be enrolled in full-time postgraduate studies at Oxford University.

Erasmus Mundus Scholarship:

The Erasmus scholarship is a fully-funded scholarship awarded to students pursuing undergraduate, post-graduate, and Doctoral degree programs in European universities. In this scholarship, all the expenses are covered by the European Commission. The expenses covered are tuition fees, travel, and living allowance.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Students at the Master’s level from any country worldwide
  • Students must have a degree of first higher education
  • Students in the final year of their first-degree studies and will graduate before the Master’s program starts

Commonwealth Scholarship & Fellowship:

This scholarship is awarded to talented and motivated candidates who need financial help. It is awarded funding by the UK foreign, commonwealth & development office (FCDO) with the aim to contribute to the international development of the UK, support higher education, and help it develop overseas relations.

Eligibility Criteria:

Dr. Manmohan Singh Scholarship:

To honor the former Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh – this scholarship is designed for students who enroll at St John’s College at the University of Cambridge. This scholarship is awarded to Indian students pursuing doctoral or Ph.D. programs in the UK.

Dr. Manmohan Singh has graduated from St John’s College in 1957.

Goa Education Trust Scholarship:

Commenced in 2010, Goa Education Trust Scholarship (GET) is awarded to Indian students (Goa state) pursuing postgraduate education in the UK. The scholarship covers full or partial tuition fees.

Charles Wallace India Trust Scholarships:

CWIT, also known as Charles Wallace India Trust Scholarship, is an agreement between the Indian and British governments. This scholarship is awarded in honor of Charles Wallace. It is the UK institute-based scholarship and awarded to Indian students in the mid-stages of careers to stay in the UK and achieve academic, professional, and artistic excellence.

CWIT scholarship includes monetary funds, long-term grants covering accommodation, living costs, tuition fees, short-term research, professional visit, etc.

  • He should not have received any CWIT grant in the last 5 years

Sir Ratan Tata Scholarships:

This scholarship is available to Indian students planning to pursue postgraduate programs at the University of Liverpool. Sir Ratan Tata Scholarship applies to a one-year masters in the field of development studies.

The grant covers partial international airfare from India to the university abroad.
