Students spend approximately 10 days abroad in groups of 20-30 under the GMIX initiative.

Stanford MBA Admission Requirements

Applications for the MBA program are open to all from college seniors and recent graduates to those with varying levels of working experience. Students applying for MBA from Stanford GSB have to go through a rigorous application process. For the class of 2022, Stanford GSB received approximately 7324 applications of which almost 436 were accepted. The application fee for the MBA program is around $275.

GMAT score above 730 and GPA above 3.7 adds weightage to your application. The GRE or GMAT score requirement varies depending on your choice of  elective and can be checked on Stanford GSB’s website at gsb.stanford.edu. Other requirements for admission at GSB are mentioned below:

  • A four-year bachelor’s degree or a two-year master’s degree following the three-year bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • GMAT or GRE test scores (as per course specialisations).
  • English Language Proficiency Tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, PTE scores.
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Two personal essays on topics mentioned on the GSB website
